NexTraq Launches ClearPath Efficient Routing Functionality to Conserve Fuel and Time
ATLANTA - With NexTraq's new ClearPath routing functionality, dispatchers and drivers save time and money by finding the quickest route for a vehicle’s workday.
ATLANTA – NexTraq, the value leader of GPS vehicle tracking and fleet management solutions, announces expanded routing functionality within the NexTraq Fleet Tracking platform. With the new ClearPath routing functionality, dispatchers and drivers save time and money by finding the quickest route for a vehicle’s workday.
ClearPath routing is an easy-to-use feature that takes all of the locations and stops in a vehicle’s route and orders them to create the shortest route. With the click of one button, a dispatcher or fleet manager can create routes based on the distance of the route.
Additionally, dispatchers can send the efficient routes to the driver’s in-vehicle Garmin® device through NexTraq’s Fleet Dispatch application, saving significant time for both the dispatcher and the driver. This new functionality means completing more jobs in one day, ultimately increasing service revenue and driver productivity while decreasing fuel costs.
Mike Scarbrough, CEO of NexTraq, said, “As a customer-centric organization, NexTraq’s research and development team continually works to find a way to make our customers’ jobs easier. The new ClearPath efficient routing functionality is a direct result of a market need that had not been addressed. With the predicted rising gas prices in the spring and summer, our clients can effectively reduce excessive fleet fuel expenses with routing technology.”
By automating a time-consuming manual process, dispatchers, fleet managers and administrators as well as business owners can focus on other aspects of their fleet operations without worrying about whether their drivers are taking the shortest and most direct route to a location.
