Telematics provider NexTraq will integrate its data with Fleetio's preventative maintenance calendar under a new partnership between the companies, NexTraq has announced.
The integration provides both NexTraq and Fleetio customers the ability to streamline fleet management processes and reduce operational costs by offering comprehensive management of day-to-day fleet operations, according to the company.
"Integrating with Fleetio allows direct communication between NexTraq's data and the preventive maintenance calendar in Fleetio, giving our users a more precise fleet management timeline and allowing them to realize the full benefits of both platforms," said Wyn Partington, NexTraq's vice president of marketing.
With the integration, NexTraq will automatically update the current odometer reading once per day for each Fleetio mapped vehicle, providing a significant timesaver in getting meter updates. By combing the strengths of both solutions, users are able to maintain the most up-to-date fleet data and maintenance schedules.
"With automatic odometer updates through NexTraq's integration, mutual customers get a huge productivity boost and confidence that preventative maintenance schedules are always triggered on time," said Tony Summerville, Fleetio's founder and CEO.
