Networkfleet Promotes Ransom to Director of Product Management

SAN DIEGO – Networkfleet has promoted Chris Ransom to director of product management. In this role, Ransom will be responsible for current and future development of the company's fleet management products and services.
Ransom joined Networkfleet in 2007 as strategic alliances manager. During this period, he spearheaded Networkfleet's efforts in the clean technology arena by working with its partners to quantify the clean air benefits of Networkfleet. Through partnerships with national, state, and local clean air agencies, he helped Networkfleet gain recognition as a tool for reducing fleet greenhouse gas emissions.
Before joining Networkfleet, Ransom worked for technology consulting firms SAIC, Accenture, and Gartner Group as an industry expert, where he assisted companies of all sizes with various strategic initiatives. He also worked as director of business development for Cygent, a telecom software startup.
Ransom holds an MBA from San Diego State University and Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
