SAN DIEGO – Networkfleet, a leader in wireless fleet management, announced it has partnered with ServMan, an enterprise management system for the service industry, to streamline field workforce scheduling and dispatching.
By combining Networkfleet’s GPS location tracking with ServMan’s management software, service companies can quickly locate the right technician for the job based on their location, availability and skills.
ServMan Software is a powerful, easy-to-use, fully integrated enterprise management system designed specifically for the service industry. The product integrates a suite of software modules that manage virtually all aspects of a commercial and/or residential service business. ServMan will combine Microsoft MapPoint with Networkfleet GPS location to provide value-added functionality for scheduling, dispatching and managing the field work force.
Benefits of ServMan and Networkfleet integration include:
Dispatching Efficiencies: Real-time vehicle locations and stops display all scheduled orders and the current GPS position of all technicians on a map. Dispatchers can easily identify the current position of any technicians, either within or outside of a selected department.
Tracking of Pending Orders: Orders are color-coded based on the technician for easy identification on the map. As orders are completed, they disappear from the map, making tracking of pending orders easy.
Automatic Scheduling: ServMan’s software will automatically provide the best technician match for the job based on skills, availability and current proximity from the call.
“Both Servman and Networkfleet are all about improving efficiency, effectiveness and profits for our service fleet customers. Integration with ServMan provides a new level of capabilities to automate the management of field technicians and reduce operating expenses,” said Keith Schneider, president and CEO of Networkfleet. “Networkfleet is eager to partner with world-class solutions like ServMan that give our customers a distinct competitive advantage.”
