SAN DIEGO - Networkfleet, Inc. announced it is now shipping the Networkfleet 4200, a low cost GPS vehicle tracking system for commercial and government fleets. The Networkfleet 4200 adds to a growing family of hardware and services offered by Networkfleet to better meet the customer's specific fleet management requirements.

The Networkfleet 4200 is designed for fleets that need reliable location tracking, but do not require the patented remote engine diagnostics offered by the Networkfleet 3500 wireless fleet management system. Both products use the same full-featured, easy-to-use Web-based application to provide access to vehicle information.

"Since announcing that this product would be available, we have had tremendous interest and have already taken a significant number of pre-orders in July," said Keith Schneider, president of Networkfleet. "Fleets looking for a low cost GPS tracking solution recognize the importance of purchasing from a financially stable vendor with a history of reliable products and customer support. This ensures their investment will be safe and supported in the long term."

The Networkfleet 4200 gives fleets a vehicle tracking system that includes a rugged, automotive-grade device backed by Networkfleet's full service and support. Designed by Networkfleet's experienced telematics engineering group and built in the U.S., the 4200 is tamper evident and hermetically sealed, allowing it to withstand harsh environments.

"We are thrilled to have a high quality GPS solution at such a great price. I know that customers will appreciate the extensive capabilities of the Networkfleet solution and will start saving money and reducing operating costs from day one," said Terri Sullivan, VP of Sullivan Communications, a Networkfleet reseller. "We were the first to order the Networkfleet 4200 because we believe there is already demand for this cost-effective solution in the market."
