SAN DIEGO – Networkcar has been chosen as a finalist for the AeA High Tech Award, the CONNECT Most Innovative Product Award, and the Dealmakers of the Year honors.
SAN DIEGO– Networkcar has been chosen as a finalist in three award programs for technology and business innovation. The three awards include the AeA High Tech Award, the CONNECT Most Innovative Product Award, and the Dealmakers of the Year honors.
Networkcar's patented technology, Networkfleet, has been selected as a finalist in the 15th annual AeA High Tech Awards in the category of communications products and services. Networkfleet is a wireless fleet management system that combines patented remote diagnostic systems with GPS-based location technology to reduce fleet operating costs. Fleet managers receive alerts and log on to a secure Web site to manage vehicle information.
Networkfleet was also selected as a finalist in the CONNECT Most Innovative Product program in the category of clean technology. Networkfleet's continuous emissions monitoring, combined with the system's ability to reduce fuel usage, lower idle time, and reduce vehicle speed and miles traveled, is having a significant impact on reducing harmful emissions. In California, Networkfleet customers are wirelessly "smog checked" to immediately identify out-of-compliance vehicles.
Networkcar was also named a finalist in the Dealmakers of the Year honors by Point Loma Nazarene University's Fermanian School of Business and Business Center. The Dealmakers award honors San Diego individuals and firms that create significant, long-term value for the region. The awards recognize unique area individuals, firms, and events that exemplify creativity, value, innovation, success, and ethical practices that set the standard for the San Diego regional business community.
