Natural Gas Benefits to be Highlighted at AFLA Conference
SAN ANTONIO – Chesapeake Energy's director of market development will discuss how natural gas can benefit the economy and the environment at the 2012 Automotive Fleet & Leasing Association (AFLA) conference next month.
SAN ANTONIO – Chesapeake Energy Corporation’s Norman Herrera, director of market development, will deliver a 45-minute presentation on how natural gas can benefit the economy and the environment at the 2012 Automotive Fleet & Leasing Association (AFLA) Conference in San Antonio next month. Chesapeake Energy Corporation is the nation’s second-largest producer of natural gas.
The session, “Natural Gas Vehicles: An American Energy, Economic, and Environmental Answer,” will run from 10-10:45 a.m. on Sept. 12. The AFLA Conference is set for Sept. 10-12 at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country.
Herrera has been with Chesapeake Energy since 2008 and serves as director for market development at the company’s Oklahoma City Corporate Office. His primary role is to manage and advocate on behalf Chesapeake’s natural gas vehicle initiatives in all operating areas, including local governments, commercial retailers, and producer industry collaboratives and trade associations.
The AFLA conference offers attendees the opportunity to meet with top strategic leaders from the highest levels of the corporate fleet industry. AFLA’s membership is comprised of tenured fleet professionals, industry manufacturers, leading fleet management companies, top-ranked fleet dealers and remarketers, as well as allied service providers.
