Nationwide Auction Systems Unveils Customer Intranet
To streamline the reporting process, and provide permanent, searchable records with photos for its major corporate, government and law enforcement clients, Nationwide Auction System has introduced a software system called CAMI, Consignor Asset Management Intranet, which monitors auction returns online and provides up-to-the-minute, detailed accounting of all assets sold. The secure, confidential online service can only be accessed by the registered user. Lot descrip-tions including photos and bid information are all displayed in a downloadable format. San Diego Police Dept., one of Nationwide’s major government customers, has sold 32 vehicles in a December 9 auction that featured more than 900 lots. By logging into CAMI, the San Diego Po-lice Dept. contact could access the appropriate asset report within five minutes of the sale and then e-mail the data to accounts receivable for immediate processing. Other agencies that are currently using the CAMI system include Los Angeles County, county of Riverside, Metropolitan Water District, and the San Diego Police Department.
