National Oilwell Varco will utilize MiX Telematic’s fleet management solutions to decrease risky driving behavior for its fleet following a major contract signed between the two companies.

The contract was signed based on results achieved during a competitive pilot phase between National Oilwell Varco and MiX, according to a release. MiX’s solutions will help provide insight on how safe driving technology and proactive management can help minimize accidents and improve overall safety ratings.

National Oilwell Varco will use the fleet asset management company’s solutions through its light-duty fleet through the U.S. and Canada.
