NAFA Elects 2003-04 Officers & Trustees

The National Association of Fleet Administrators (NAFA) elected its officers and trustees for 2003-2004 at its Fleet Management Institute, held May 4-7, 2003, in Philadelphia. Milton Reid, director of fleet management, City of Gainesville, FL, succeeds David Robertson, CAFM, as president.

The National Association of Fleet Administrators (NAFA) elected its officers and trustees for 2003-2004 at its Fleet Management Institute, held May 4-7, 2003, in Philadelphia. Milton Reid, director of fleet management, City of Gainesville, FL, succeeds David Robertson, CAFM, as president. Charlie Gibbens, fleet manager for the County of Henrico, VA, was elected as senior vice president. Linda R. Carlton, CAFM, assistant manager, transmission & distribution, Tacoma (WA) Power, Tacoma Public Utilities was also elected senior vice president. Gayle Pratt was elected vice president. Pratt is director, logistics for the State of Michigan's Department of Management and Budget. Claudette Cordeau, account manager for Bell Canada, will serve as vice president for Canada. Catherine Mitchell, assistant general services director for the City of Tacoma, WA, is secretary. Walter J. Burnett is treasurer. Burnett is superintendent of building & vehicle maintenance, Department of Public Works, City of Beverly Hills, CA. The trustees are:

  • Trustee - Western Region -- Ellie Walsh, vice president and director of administrative services, ABM Industries Inc., San Francisco.

  • Trustee - Central Region -- Iden C. Ford, fleet administrator, The Auto Club Group (AAA) Michigan, Dearborn, MI.

  • Trustee - Eastern Region -- Josie Sharp, manager, fleet and fleet safety, Aventis Pharmaceuticals Inc., Bridgewater, NJ.

  • Trustee -- Janice Faries, fleet operations manager, R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co., Winston-Salem, NC.

  • Affiliate Trusteee -- Katherine (Kathi) Croze, corporate accounts manager -- West region, The CEI Group, Jenks, OK.
