PRINCETON, NJ – Since 1993, NAFA has recognized individuals, whose creative ideas have helped improve fleet management by increasing productivity or through the creation of bottom-line cost savings, with the Larry Goill Memorial Quality Fleet Management Idea Award. Named in honor of the late NAFA vice president for Canada in 1996, the award is presented each year at NAFA's annual Institute & Expo. The submission process for ideas to be considered for a 2009 Larry Goill Award is now open.
Previous winning ideas have included innovative uses of Internet technology, cost and efficiency savings realized by restructuring of personnel, the formation of both internal and external strategic alliances, the design of unique vehicles to meet unique needs, and innovative lifecycle analysis and decision-making.

The deadline for entries is March 12. All entries must include a completed entry form and six copies of any additional materials to substantiate the entry (CD, video, reports, etc.).There is no entry fee. Up to three different ideas may be submitted for consideration, but each entry must be submitted with a separate entry form and its own corresponding documentation.
