Motor Coach Industries Recalls Transit Buses
WASHINGTON, D.C. --- Motor Coach Industries Inc. is recalling about 700 MY 2002-2009 transit buses equipped with Luminator Horizon LED side destination signs.
WASHINGTON, D.C. --- Motor Coach Industries Inc. is recalling about 700 MY 2002-2009 transit buses equipped with Luminator Horizon LED side destination signs.
The connector board can corrode if moisture accumulates under the connector, raising the risk of a short circuit. That has the potential to lead to smoke or fire, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
MCI will notify owners of the safety recall, and Luminator will make the necessary repairs free of charge.
