Motivational Speaker Steve Adubato to Guide Discussion at NAFA New Jersey Chapter Meeting Next Week

FAIRFIELD, NJ – The Annual Education Meeting next Tuesday, Nov. 11, is designed to stimulate new ideas to improve current fleet programs and day-to-day activities.

FAIRFIELD, NJ – The NAFA New Jersey Chapter will host its Annual Education Meeting next Tuesday, Nov. 11, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Fairfield, N.J. The meeting is designed to stimulate new ideas to improve current fleet programs and day-to-day activities. Special guest speaker and broadcaster, author, and university professor, Steve Adubato will guide the discussion on effective communication and negotiation. Adubato will also be available for book signing afterwards.

9 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.               Registration

9:30 a.m. – 10 a.m.            Continental breakfast and announcements

10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.          Steve Adubato, Ph.D., enjoys a distinguished career as a broadcaster, author, university professor and motivational speaker. A trainer and coach in the areas of communication and leadership skills, Adubato also served in the mid-1980s as New Jersey's youngest state legislator at the age of 26. Adubato will guide a lively discussion on effective communication and negotiation. He will provide tips for communicating effectively with drivers, staff, upper management, and even our family. Have a valuable yet difficult employee that you need to coach? Adubato will provide coaching tips to help you through it.

1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.       Tax Implications of Employer-Provided Vehicles, Robert Kruger
Robert Kruger, is commercial tax leader for GE Capital Solutions Fleet Services, and has been in the commercial fleet leasing industry since 1999, working solely with the tax aspects of vehicle leasing for the last 7 years. With a specialty in motor vehicle and TRAC leasing, he has experience with leasing products and services ranging from vehicle acquisition and maintenance to remarketing. His knowledge of and expertise in the automotive industry and trends in the leasing industry, as well as his involvement with the ELFA has led him to be a respected speaker both internally and externally, as well as being a contributor for Automotive Fleet magazine. Kruger lives in Burnsville, Minnesota with his wife Tara and three children, Chloe, Charlie, and Calvin, enjoying the outdoors and family activities.
