More than 150 LeasePlan USA Employees Participate in Kaiser Permanente Corporate Challenge

ALPHARETTA, GA - LeasePlan USA, a local fleet management company and premium service provider, took to the streets of downtown Atlanta with a team of more than 150 participants for the Kaiser Permanente Corporate Challenge on Sept. 16, 2010.
"Because of the passion and commitment that our employees have for healthy living, our team increased from nearly 100 participants last year to more than 150 this year! It's not a surprise with record-high employee engagement scores that nearly half of our Atlanta employees were willing and eager to participate," said Mike Pitcher, President and CEO.
This year marked the 5K run/walk workplace-organized fitness event's 25th year in Georgia. Designed to promote health, wellness and fitness among Atlanta's corporate community, the annual event attracts approximately 15,000 participants from 400-plus companies.
"What makes me truly proud of our involvement in the Corporate Challenge is that initiatives like this are driven by employees that are willing to give of their time for the betterment of their co-workers. The event was a huge success, and I can't wait to see what next year will bring," said Pitcher.
LeasePlan USA, a subsidiary of LeasePlan Corp. N.V., is a global leader in vehicle leasing and fleet management solutions. The company, which manages 1.3 million vehicles worldwide, offers clients customized plans for total fleet cost reduction through its technologically advanced products and dedication to customer service.
