GEORGETOWN, TEXAS – CleanFUEL USA, a propane autogas infrastructure and engine systems supplier, has promoted 31-year propane autogas industry veteran David “Wayne” Moore to be the company’s chief operating officer. Moore’s chief responsibilities include overseeing CleanFUEL USA's day-to-day operations and product development in both its Novi, Mich., and Georgetown, Texas locations.

“Wayne will play a key role as CleanFUEL continues to expand its offerings in the engine and infrastructure markets,” said Curtis Donaldson, CEO and founder of CleanFUEL USA. “The magnitude of experience that Moore brings with him from the propane autogas industry undoubtedly serves as a huge advantage for our company. He has helped place CleanFUEL on a lucrative path and we are excited about the opportunities ahead now that Moore is in this new position.”

Moore began his career in the propane industry with Petrolane, where he was responsible for 12 autogas-focused conversion centers. He then worked for Suburban Propane before joining CleanFUEL in 1997. In his first position at CleanFUEL, Moore played an instrumental role in forming Espagas in Celaya, GTO, Mexico, growing the company to $24 million in annual revenue. In addition, Moore supported engineers at Ford of Mexico in the only “on the assembly line” production-built propane vehicle program in the world, where more than 5,000 liquid phase, propane fuel-injected trucks were built alongside the gasoline and diesel trucks.

Since then, Moore has assisted with the introduction of liquid propane injected vehicles to the U.S. and the development of several OEM programs with General Motors and Freightliner Custom Chassis. He has also led the engineering team in the advancement of propane autogas dispensing technology created by CleanFUEL.

“In the past 15 years, I have watched CleanFUEL grow at a substantial pace,” said Moore. “With increased interest from both fleet customers as well as vehicle manufacturers, we are now facing an exciting opportunity in the propane autogas market. I feel privileged to serve as COO and to continue to work with and grow an amazing team of people at CleanFUEL.”
