Mitsubishi to Debut North American Version of i-MiEV
TOKYO, JAPAN - Mitsubishi Motors Corp. will introduce the North American version of its i-MiEV electric vehicle at the LA Auto Show, held Nov. 17-28 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
TOKYO, JAPAN - Mitsubishi Motors Corp. will introduce the North American version of its i-MiEVelectric vehicle at the LA Auto Show, held Nov. 17-28 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
The show is open to the general public beginning Nov. 19.
The North American version of the i-MiEV, in comparison to the Japanese- and European-spec i-MiEVs, features an enlarged body structure to ensure plenty of space for four adults.
In addition, the North American-spec i-MiEV's front and rear bumpers are all-new. Airbags that detect passengers' seating position and control deployment force, a tire pressure monitoring system, and active stability control (ASC) are all standard equipment.
