Mitsubishi Fuso Celebrates Sale of 30,000th Vehicle in Taiwan

Daimler Trucks Asia Taiwan Ltd. (DTAT) has handed over the 30,000th FUSO vehicle to customers since its start of operations in 2017.

The Fuso Canter Pro 5 was purchased by Yi Kung Construction Co. Ltd., a full-service real estate development and construction company headquartered in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The company currently runs approximately 15 FUSO vehicles in its fleet. A handover ceremony will be arranged this month to celebrate the sale.

Fuso’s presence in Taiwan began in 1936 and has grown steadily. For the past 29 consecutive years, the truck manufacturer has been the commercial vehicle brand with the top market share rank: 32.2 percent in 2020. DTAT has continuously upgraded retail location facilities and service levels across the island. Its annual customer appreciation campaign, the FUSO Heroes event, recognizes FUSO owners who have contributed most to Taiwanese society, selected in part by public vote.
