Nissan North America is recalling 211 2014 model-year LEAF electric cars because the front structural member assembly may be missing welds, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports.
The missing welds could compromise the car’s structural integrity in a crash, NHTSA said. The recall, expected to begin by mid-June, affects LEAF vehicles manufactured from Feb. 28 through March 12 of this year.
