Merchants Fleet has earned recognition for its work culture that includes it being named Great Place to Work-Certified for the fourth consecutive year and Chicago's Best and Brightest Companies to Work For for the first time, the Hooksett, N.H.-based fleet management company announced.
Great Place to Work is a global consulting firm that provides a certification that means at least seven of 10 employees report a consistently positive experience working for Merchants, where 92% of employees said it's a great place to work.
Best and Brightest Companies to Work For recognizes companies that excel at employee relations, using innovation to motivate employees, and offer creative compensation programs. An independent research firm validates each company's entry.
Merchants representatives will receive the later award at a Sept. 16 banquet at the Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel.
"Creating a work environment where employees can lead and make an impact is critical to giving our clients the most innovative experience possible," said Alicia Hart, vice president of human resources. "We're proud to maintain our Great Place to Work Certification and to rank among Chicago's Best and Brightest Companies to Work For."
