The 2026 Mercedes-AMG E 53 Hybrid Wagon offers up to 41 miles of all-electric range. It is scheduled to arrive at U.S. dealerships in early fall 2025, with a starting price of $93,350.
The vehicle is equipped with an AMG-enhanced 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder turbocharged engine paired with a permanently excited synchronous electric motor, producing a combined output of 577 hp. It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in as little as 3.8 seconds and features AMG Performance 4MATIC, a fully variable all-wheel drive system. The AMG ride control suspension features adaptive adjustable damping and 2.5-degree active rear-axle steering.
The optional AMG Dynamic Plus Package includes an electronically controlled AMG limited-slip rear differential, a race start function, and an AMG High-Performance Composite Brake System with larger front brake discs. This package raises the vehicle’s top speed to 174 mph.
Exterior options include more than 10 paint colors and three design packages: the AMG Exterior Carbon Fiber Package, the AMG Night Package, and the AMG Night Package Plus. Standard 20-inch AMG wheels can be replaced with optional 20-inch or 21-inch AMG forged wheel designs.
The interior features an AMG Performance steering wheel in Nappa leather with AMG drive unit buttons and heated rim, heated power front seats with 4-way lumbar support, and a Burmester 4D Surround Sound System. The optional MBUX Superscreen Package adds a 12.3-inch front passenger display to the standard 14.4-inch central multimedia display. Additional options include the Multicontour Seating Package, which offers expanded comfort functions, and the AMG Performance Seat Package Advanced. Upholstery choices range from standard AMG MB-Tex/Microfiber to AMG Nappa leather, and interior trim finishes are available in natural grain wood, AMG Carbon Fiber, and other materials.
A limited “Edition 1” model will be offered for the 2026 model year. It features Alpine Grey paint with AMG graphics and exterior accents, 21-inch AMG Forged Cross-Spoke wheels in black, and a model-specific interior.
