Mazda Announces Pricing and Updates for 2026 CX-90

Mazda has announced pricing and updates for the 2026 CX-90, offering new technology, expanded safety features, and multiple seating and powertrain configurations, including a plug-in hybrid option.

Mazda North American Operations has released pricing and updates for the 2026 CX-90 crossover. The vehicle seats up to eight and features new technology, packaging changes, and a new Polymetal Gray Metallic premium paint option.

Platform and Driving Dynamics

The CX-90 is built on Mazda’s electrified Large Platform. Features include:

  • Double wishbone front suspension

  • Multilink rear suspension

  • Standard i-Activ AWD

  • Mazda Kinematic Posture Control (KPC), designed to reduce body lift in corners and improve handling stability

Powertrain Options

  • 3.3 Turbo: e-Skyactiv G 3.3L inline-six with 280 hp and 332 lb.-ft. torque (87-octane), M-Hybrid Boost 48V system, EPA-est. 23 city/28 highway/25 combined mpg.

  • 3.3 Turbo S: Up to 340 hp and 369 lb.-ft. torque (91-octane premium); 319 hp with 87-octane.

  • PHEV: 2.5L four-cylinder engine paired with an electric motor and 17.8kWh battery, producing 323 hp and 369 lb.-ft. torque (91-octane premium). All-electric range: up to 26 miles.

All models use an 8-speed automatic transmission with i-Activ AWD.

  • Seating for eight

  • Black leatherette seats, leather-wrapped wheel/shift knob

  • 10.25-inch infotainment display with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto

  • i-Activsense safety suite (Radar Cruise Control, Smart Brake Support, Blind Spot Monitoring, Lane Keep Assist, Driver Attention Alert, and more)

CX-90 3.3 Turbo Preferred

  • New for 2026: ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, 12.3-inch infotainment with touchscreen and wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto

  • Eight-passenger seating

  • Black or greige leather seats, power sunroof, heated steering wheel

  • Third-row USB-C ports (total of six)

  • Front/rear parking sensors

  • Choice of seven- or eight-passenger seating (captain’s chairs optional)

  • Blackout exterior elements with 21-inch black metallic wheels

  • Mi-Drive modes: Sport, Off-Road, Towing

  • Towing capacity up to 5,000 lbs. with towing accessories

  • Panoramic moonroof, Bose 12-speaker audio, 12.3-inch digital cluster, head-up display

  • Additional safety: Emergency Lane Keeping, Head-on Traffic Avoidance, Secondary Collision Reduction

CX-90 3.3 Turbo Premium Plus

  • Seven or eight-passenger seating

  • Adaptive Front-lighting System with Signature headlight/taillight design

  • Black or white Nappa leather

  • Heated steering wheel, 150V cargo outlet

  • 360° View Monitor, Smart Brake Support Front Crossing, Front Cross Traffic Alert, and security system

CX-90 PHEV Preferred

  • Seating for seven

  • All-electric range: 26 miles

  • Standard ventilated/heated front and second-row seats

  • 12.3-inch infotainment with touchscreen, wireless charging

  • Six USB-C ports, three-zone climate control
