WASHINGTON - Medtec Ambulance Corp. is recalling 198 MY 2007-2010 Type II ambulances because of improper seat belt assembly, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported.
The recalled ambulances were manufactured from Sept. 14, 2007 to April 15, 2010. The rear-facing ambulance attendant seat was not equipped with a Type 2 seat belt assembly. As a result, the ambulance vans fail to conform to all federal safety standards.
