GreenRoad works with companies to reduce their fleet risk and to improve fuel consumption. GreenRoad client data suggest that on average, GreenRoad's clients have reduced accidents by 54 percent, accident costs by 49 percent, and fuel consumption by 10 percent.

"Many of our clients choose to retain their auto liability and auto damage risks by insuring or reinsuring them through their captive insurers," said Scott Gemmell, vice president of captive solutions at Marsh. "Through our agreement with GreenRoad, clients have the opportunity to work with a provider at favorable rates that can help them reduce the risk and the cost of losses in their captive arrangements, which in turn can enhance the value the captive brings to the parent company."

GreenRoad provides its clients with access to the GreenRoad Safety Center, a service package consisting of individual professional coaching for drivers and an automated safety solution for company managers.

The GreenRoad Safety Center combines safety, risk visibility, functionality, and coaching in one package. Drivers receive continuous real-time training and feedback with access to their individual driving risk profile online.

Managers receive complete and accurate visibility into risk and safety levels using Safety Center web-based reporting. Feedback is also provided via e-mail, SMS, and Safety Center's password-protected website.

Drivers and managers can review detailed reports on high-risk areas -- organized by fleet, driver, department, maneuver type, trip and other variables. The data helps fleet managers develop focused and effective risk management strategies.

"Marsh is widely recognized for its commitment to provide the highest level of risk management services to businesses with significant fleet operations," said Eric Shishko, senior vice president of insurance at GreenRoad. "We're delighted to join with Marsh to make our fleet safety expertise available to Marsh's clients."
