Kathy V. Marinello was named president and CEO of GE Capital Fleet Services on Aug. 30, 2002. She replaces Daniel S. Henson, who was promoted to president and CEO of GEs Vendor Financial Services unit.
Kathy V. Marinello was named president and CEO of GE Capital Fleet Services on Aug. 30, 2002. She replaces Daniel S. Henson, who was promoted to president and CEO of GE’s Vendor Financial Services unit. Marinello, 46, joined GE in 1997 with extensive experience in financial services marketing and op-erations, including positions at First Data Corp., First Bank Systems, Chemical Bank, and Citibank. After serving as president of GE Capital's Consumer Financial Services business, she was named to her current position in August 1999. She holds an M.B.A. from Hofstra University and a B.A. from S.U.N.Y. at Albany, NY. Henson, 41, has headed GE Capital Fleet Services since January 2001. He began his GE career in 1987, moving through positions of increasing responsibility at several of GE's financial services businesses, including managing director of European Equipment Finance and president and general manager of Auto Financial Services. Henson also spent a year as GE Capital's vice president and chief quality officer. He holds a B.B.A. from George Washington University.
