ALPHARETTA, GA – LeasePlan USA took part in NAFA's Habitat for Humanity project April 24, which took place before the Institute & Expo in New Orleans.
LeasePlan volunteers, including Louisiana natives Mike Pitcher, president and CEO, and Jon Toups, senior vice president, sales, marketing and client services, grabbed a hammer and helped Team NAFA build a house for a deserving New Orleans East resident.
"The experience was truly amazing and I want to thank NAFA and the New Orleans Habitat for Humanity for giving us the opportunity to be a part of this project. Even in these hard economic times, NAFA men and women came out to lend a helping hand. It was great to be part of the rebuilding process for New Orleans," said Pitcher.
In addition, LeasePlan sponsored the event by matching NAFA's $2,000 contribution and providing T-shirts and water bottles for all participants.
