ALPHARETTA, GA - LeasePlan USA, a vehicle leasing and fleet management solutions provider, took to the streets of downtown Atlanta for the Kaiser Permanente Corporate Run/Walk on Sept. 10.
This 5K run/walk workplace-organized fitness event began in 1983. Designed to promote health, wellness and fitness among Atlanta's corporate community, the annual event attracts more than 15,000 participants from 400-plus companies. And LeasePlan was there in full force with nearly 100 employees participating.

"When we started, we felt 50 participants would be a success, so we were thrilled when LeasePlan had nearly 100 participants on race day including virtual racers across the country!" said Mike Pitcher, president and CEO.
Pitcher added, "Not only did this event bring our employees together as a team, but it also encouraged them to get moving by running or walking to prepare for the event. The inspiration behind this event fits in nicely with the philosophy and goals of our own health and wellness initiative, called HealthyU."
In addition to completing the run/walk, the team was honored with an award.
The T-shirt worn by participants during the race won the Most Colorful category in the design contest.
LeasePlan USA, a subsidiary of LeasePlan Corp. N.V., is a global provider of vehicle leasing and fleet management solutions.
