LeasePlan USA will roll out a telematics offering to fleets under a new partnership with geo-productivity software provider MapAnything that will offer integration of contact management, OnStar, and an electronic logging device (ELD) application, according to the fleet management company.

LeasePlan clients will gain access to the cloud-based MapAnything mobility solutions under a service agreement. MapAnything Live will provide OnStar-based data from General Motors vehicles under the agreement.

Fleets can use MapAnything's ELD application to comply with the mandate by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration that goes into place on Dec. 17.

The offering is part of LeasePlan USA's "What's next?" mobility campaign.
