Amazon's last-mile delivery provider The Delivery Guys has implemented an A.I.-powered solution to service and maintain its fleets of delivery vehicles.
Driveroo is an auto care platform that uses machine learning to determine the likelihood of specific maintenance issues that's based on the type of vehicle and its specific history, according to the company.
It partners with a network of local, BAR Licensed, ASE Certified auto service shops to provide mechanical inspections and all necessary fleet maintenance services and any needed repairs. Driveroo currently serves managers of short-haul delivery services and virtual fleets, used car dealers, carsharing or ride-hailing services, and other businesses that need to maintain multiple vehicles.
The Driveroo mobile app, in combination with partnerships with professional auto service providers, offers visibility into the process of automotive care, maintenance, and inspections, according to the automaker.
Research and markets analysts forecast the last mile delivery market in North America to grow at a CAGR of 12.76% from 2018-2022, according to a release.
