Jaguar Land Rover North America is recalling 220 2016- and 2017-model year Land Rover Discovery Sport SUVs and Range Rover Evoque SUVs because of a potential defect that could affect vehicle handling, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
At issue are Land Rover Discovery Sports vehicles manufactured from May 30, 2016, to Aug. 24, 2016, and Range Rover Evoque vehicles manufactured from June 7, 2016, to Aug. 26, 2016. These SUVs have front lower control arm fasteners that may fail because of an assembly error. The condition might result in separation of the steering knuckle.
