Kumho to Be OE on Ford Focus

DEARBORN, MI – Kumho officials announced that Ford Motor Co. has picked Kumho Tire U.S.A. Inc. to supply original equipment (OE) tires for the majority of its 2009 Ford Focus models.

DEARBORN, MI – Kumho officials announced that Ford Motor Co. has picked Kumho Tire U.S.A. Inc. to supply original equipment (OE) tires for the majority of its 2009 Ford Focus models, according to Modern Tire Dealer magazine. Kumho will supply approximately 200,000 of its size 215/45R17 Solus KH16 tires for the Focus.

The Solus KH16, an ultra-high performance product, has been available in the U.S. tire replacement market since 2005.

Kumho also supplies OE tires to Volkswagen, Daimler, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, and Kia.
