KME Recalling 695 Emergency Vehicles
Kovatch Mobile Equipment Corp. (KME) is recalling 695 emergency vehicles, including Predators and Panthers.
Kovatch Mobile Equipment Corp. (KME) is recalling 695 2009-2013 model-year Predator, Predator SS and Panther vehicles; 2010-2011 model-year ARFF vehicles; and 2010-2013 model-year Panther II emergency vehicles.
In these vehicles, the grease fitting in the steering column shaft may get caught in the column cover. If the cover tears as a result, this could impact the driver's ability to steer the vehicle, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported.
Dealers will make the necessary repairs free of charge.
