Kia Recalls Soul, Soul EV for Accelerator Pedal
The recall, set to get under way March 24, affects 208,858 cars in the 2014 and 2015 model years.

Kia Motors America is recalling 208,858 2014-2015 model-year Soul and Soul electric vehicles because part of the accelerator pedal may bend and fracture, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
The recall covers cars manufactured from July 21, 2013, to Jan. 8 of this year.
Kia dealers will add a supporting piece of rubber underneath the pedal stopper, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin March 24.
Vehicle owners can reach Kia customer service at (800) 333-4542. Kia’s number for this recall is SC116.
