Kia Motors Corp. is recalling 3,107 2014 model-year Cadenza sedans because the wheels might fracture when the cars drive across big potholes, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports.
The cars in question were all manufactured from Feb. 1, 2013, through Aug. 27, 2013, and have 19-inch non-chrome aluminum wheels. Driving through a large, deep pothole could cause the circular rim to separate, resulting in a loss of tire pressure and posing a safety hazard, NHTSA said.
