WALNUT CREEK, CA – In celebration of Military Appreciation Month, KelleyAmerit Fleet Services, California’s largest Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise, announced the launch of its new hiring initiative, Veterans First.
Veterans First is KelleyAmerit’s promise to seek veterans to fill its open positions by actively and aggressively recruiting veterans at events and online job boards. With over 400 locations nationwide, KelleyAmerit has opportunities for candidates seeking rewarding careers in fleet vehicle maintenance and management.
KelleyAmerit strongly encourages other companies to join them in helping our country overcome the alarming 29 percent1 unemployment rate among veterans, by hiring them for positions that utilize their strength of leadership, work ethic and technical training that were developed during their time in the military.
“We believe veterans are the best candidate to hire,” said Gary Herbold, CEO of KelleyAmerit and a disabled-veteran himself. “Their world-class technical training and education make them an asset to all companies seeking to strengthen their future. Veterans First is our effort to support those who have sacrificed so much for our country by hiring them for careers where their unique skills and character are needed and will be valued.”
Veterans: please email your experience or resume to vetjobs@kelleyamerit.com for career opportunities nationwide.
