Jiffy Lube Introduces Maintenance Service for EV Fleets
The Jiffy Lube Electric Vehicle Signature Service will be initially rolled out in seven stores across the country in the cities of Santa Barbara, Palo Alto, Los Angeles, Portland (Ore.), Miami, and Austin.

Jiffy Lube has introduced a new service tailored for electric vehicles, which will be piloted at participating locations this year, according to the company's press announcement.
The Jiffy Lube Electric Vehicle Signature Service aims to bring speed, convenience, and expertise to electric vehicle owners.
The Electric Vehicle Signature Service includes:
Multi-Point Safety Inspection
12-volt battery terminal cleaning
Tire Rotation
Brake Fluid Exchange
Top off of fluids
Replacement of Wiper Blades
Replacement of Cabin Air Filter
Replacement of FOB Battery
Signature Service Courtesies (vacuuming the interior of the vehicle, cleaning exterior windows, mirrors and windshield)
“While Jiffy Lube pioneered the quick lube industry more than 40 years ago, it is critical that the brand evolves to meet the needs of today’s consumer and new vehicle technologies,” said Edward Hymes, president of Jiffy Lube International, Inc. “With the introduction of its Electric Vehicle Signature Service, Jiffy Lube again is a first-mover within the fast lube category, offering a complete package of services for electric vehicles.”
Jiffy Lube also recently expanded its service offering to include brakes, batteries, and tires.
“We are now extending our trusted Signature Service offering for internal combustion engines (ICE) to electric vehicles," Hymes said. "With the future of mobility evolving – whether it is the improved internal combustion engine (ICE), electric vehicles, plug-in hybrids or hydrogen vehicles – we are confident the Jiffy Lube model is poised to innovate for the vehicle of the future.”
