IARA Announces Agenda for 2004 Remarketing Roundtable in Chicago
The next IARA Roundtable event, designed to address the needs and priorities of vehicle remarketers, will be held July 21-23 at the Fairmont Hotel in downtown Chicago.
The next IARA Roundtable event, designed to address the needs and priorities of vehicle remarketers, will be held July 21-23 at the Fairmont Hotel in downtown Chicago. Working together, participants will define and prioritize key developmental requirements that will be presented to appropriate industry groups. The event begins with a 5 pm cocktail reception on July 21. Roundtable sessions will feature a discussion and possible IARA endorsement of vehicle grading scales, a Chicago-area auto dealers panel, an announcement and initiation of new IARA online remarketing orientation modules, and a presentation by a Northwood University representative on the registration process for online modules. A group evening event is planned for July 22. Attendance for the IARA Roundtable Series is recommended to auction managers, banks, fleet lease managers, leasing companies, manufacturing organizations, remarketing service providers, remarketing technology providers, rental-car companies, vehicle inspection companies, vehicle value organizations, and used-car sales managers. Conference rates are $195 for members and $345 for nonmembers. Hotel rates are $189 per night. Rates are valid until June 21, 2004; thereafter, rooms are available on a first come, first served basis at a higher rate.
