The Hyundai Elantra's Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) is getting noticed for its automation technology that features pedestrian, cyclist and junction-turning detection.

It works by using radar and camera sensors to help prevent accidents with other vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists. FCA triggers to reduce speed and alerts the driver of potential on-road collisions. The additional Electronic Stability Control pitches in by applying the brakes at the right time. And, the junction-turning feature can detect an oncoming vehicle when turning left at an intersection to warn the driver and provide braking assistance.
