Hyundai Announces Formation of Hyundai Truck America

Hyundai recently formed Hyundai Truck America (HTA), which will begin marketing light- and medium-duty trucks in the U.S. in January 2003.
The Jamesburg, NJ-based operation will service an initial dealer group with over 30 locations across the country. The first meeting of the HTA dealer body was held December 2, 2002 in Atlantic City, NJ.
HTA will offer Class 4 and Class 6 medium duty trucks. All trucks will come with a warranty starting with a two-year, unlimited miles coverage for the basic body and chassis. The Class 4 truck's Detroit Diesel engine and Allison transmission warranty covers three years and unlimited miles, and the Class 6 medium duty truck's Cummins engine and ZF transmission are protected by a two year, unlimited miles warranty.
