General Motors' hydrogen-fueled Chevrolet Equinox compact SUV has crossed 100,000 real-world miles in the Walt Disney Company's fleet as part of the automaker's testing of fuel cell technology.
Using renewable hydrogen, the 2007 model-year Equinox saved 5,260 gallons of gasoline over the testing period and generated more than $18,000 in fuel cost savings at $3.50 per gallon.
