BLUE BELL, PA - Henkels & McCoy has selected an enterprise, Web-based fleet management system to manage its 6,500 vehicles. Henkels & McCoy specializes in engineering, network development, and construction for the energy, communications, and pipeline industries, and this system, called FleetWave, from Chevin Fleet Solutions, will provide the company with the ability to manage complex equipment requirements, from job-based equipment assignments and forward-looking reservations to specification development and new equipment order tracking, according to both companies.
To further streamline administrative workload while simplifying the processing of financial transactions, Henkels & McCoy will work to integrate FleetWave with more than two dozen internal systems, such as finance, payroll, and HR systems as well as external workforce management, maintenance, warranty, lease, fuel, and telematics system providers.
