SALINAS, CA - Green Vehicles, a California-based automaker that produces the Triac electric vehicle, has teamed with lithium-ion battery company Leyden Energy.
Leyden Energy is locating its battery test equipment alongside manufacturing operations at the 80,000-square-foot Green Vehicles factory in Salinas, Calif.
The Triac, capable of 80 mph on the freeway, has a range of 100 miles.
Green Vehicles has developed the Vehicle Efficiency Data Assistant (VEDA) system.
