Global car rental company Green Motion has opened its latest U.S. franchise location near Hollywood International Airport in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
The Fort Lauderdale location was recently acquired by travel entrepreneurs Jesus Soler and Carlos Guerrero, who were looking for an international company to aid their existing operations.
"We are absolutely delighted to welcome Jesus, Carlos, and their team to the Green Motion family. The opening of Fort Lauderdale continues our successful development within the Florida region, supporting our locations in Orlando and Miami,” Green Motion’s founder and CEO Richard Lowden said in a statement.
Green Motion opened its first U.S. pilot operations in 2013, and has since expanded to locations throughout Florida, Louisiana, and California.
