BFO audits typically find vehicle surpluses of between 14% and 37% and these savings have a huge impact on the fleet budget and its carbon footprint.
In her new role Appleton will be introducing this important consulting service to USA and Canada. “We are excited to have someone of Grace’s caliber and industry insight on our team” said Derrick Bishop, Managing Director, Bishop Fleet Optimization.
“The timing for introducing a company like BFO to the North American market place is perfect” said Appleton. Everyone is looking for ways to cut costs by reducing their fleet size and in doing so it also helps fleets become more “Green.”
“This is the first GPS utilization service on the market that does not require the expense of adding a permanent GPS and associated ongoing monthly service costs.” Appleton goes on to say, “BFO does not use outdated methods like Log Books or Mileage Records, which can be inaccurate, incomplete and time consuming for the employees. We capture all the data on our loggers and provide dynamic web based reports that are detailed and yet easy to use.”
With over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry, Grace has filled many roles from selling cars, leasing to fleets and developing automotive auction websites. She has been a member of the Toronto NAFA chapter and is now a member of the Sunshine Chapter in Florida. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Grace and her family traded in the Northern climate for the sunny beaches of South Florida but they still love to spend summers in Canada at the lake.
