WSJ reported General Motors Co. is in talks with Google Inc. about a deal to link phones using the Internet company's Android operating system with the car maker's OnStar driver information service.
The pairing would likely involve a way for users of Android-based smartphones to use OnStar features from their phone while not in their car, with access to information about their vehicle's maintenance needs through the Android phone, reported WSJ.
