General Motors is recalling approximately 316,000 older-model SUVs and sedans in North America – about 273,000 of which are in the U.S. – because of defective headlights, the Detroit Free Press reports.
The low-beam headlamps and daytime running lamps might fail to illuminate, either intermittently or permanently, because of the defect. The recall affects 2006-2007 model-year Chevrolet TrailBlazers and GMC Envoys, 2006-MY TrailBlazer EXT and Envoy XL SUVs, 2006-2007 MY Buick Rainier SUVs, 2006-2009 MY Buick LaCrosse sedans, 2006-2008 MY Saab 9-7X SUVs and 2006-2008 Isuzu Ascender SUVs.
