GM Certified Used Vehicles Introduces New Spring Incentive Program
GM Certified Used Vehicles (CUV) has launched a nationwide spring incentive program to drive consumer interest, dealer traffic, and sales for its program. The incentive campaign, which runs from April 14 to June 30, 2003, offers a new GMAC 3.9% APR financing for up to 36 months on Chevrolet Cavalier, Chevrolet Malibu, Pontiac Grand Am, Buick Century, and Oldsmobile Alero models purchased from a participating dealer. In addition to the nationwide promotion, General Motors has launched a regional promotion in 10 cities including: Cleveland; Dallas; Denver; Detroit; Hartford, CT; Houston; Nashville, TN; Norfolk, VA; Sacramento, CA; and Washington. In addition to the GMAC 3.9 percent APR incentive, participating GM CUV dealers in the 10 markets will offer a GMAC 90-day Deferred Payment Program on all stock inventory through June 30. Finally, in three of the 10 regional markets -- Cleveland, Sacramento, and Washington -- GM Certified Used Vehicles will pilot a special value-added OnStar offer, which includes three free months of the OnStar Safe and Sound Plan and 30 free Personal Calling minutes on all OnStar equipped, Personal Calling-enabled vehicles. This offer will run through September 2003. The spring incentive program is the latest effort by GM to raise awareness and interest in the CUV program among consumers and GM dealers. GM reported record one-month certified-used-vehicle sales in April with 43,371 total vehicles sold, including the Cadillac, Saturn, and Saab certified brands.
