PARSIPPANY, NJ – Executives from Avis in the Middle East have had a first-hand look at new vehicles supplied to the car rental company by General Motors as part of the five-year fleet partnership agreement between the two companies. Under the partnership, the largest fleet agreement in history according to AME Info, General Motors will supply Avis with more than 350,000 vehicles to Europe and the Middle East and Africa over the next five years. Eighteen Avis executives attended the Avis Licensee Middle East Conference at Le Royal Meridien Hotel, Jumeirah during which Muneer Alhasan, regional fleet sales manager at General Motors Middle East introduced the extended GM line up for Avis in the Middle East.
