Bill Gibson and Rob Minton have joined natural gas fueling infrastructure company VNG.CO. Gibson has joined the company as its vice president of fleet sales, and Minton’s new role is as director of sales.
The company said both Gibson’s and Minton’s roles will be to develop and implement fleet fueling sales strategies with national and large fleet customers and fleet management companies for the continued expansion and growth of VNG’s fleet fueling relationships.
Bill Gibson worked most recently with SCT Fleet Solutions as its vice president of sales and marketing. Before that, he worked at General Motors as the company’s director - fleet and commercial sales for nearly 10 years, from 2001 to 2011. He was in charge of GM’s U.S. National Commercial Sales Accounts, federal government sales (GSA), and in coordinating global fleet sales. Prior to this role, Gibson worked as GM Fleet & Commercial Operations director - U.S. Rental Sales from 1994-2001.
Prior to his role at VNG, Minton spent 13 years with General Motors, most of that time in fleet sales as National Account Manager responsible for GM’s largest commercial fleet customers.
“Rob’s fleet experience, product knowledge, and customer relationships were key factors in our executive search,” said Robert Friedman, VNG chief operating officer. “He and Bill provide VNG with greater resources to support the VNG fueling solution for light-duty NGV fleet customers.”
