Geotab has been honored as a Gold winner in the eighth annual 2016 Golden Bridge Awards Information Technology and Security Innovations for Best Product or Service of the Year. Winners will be honored at the 2016 Red Carpet Golden Bridge awards ceremony in San Francisco on Monday, Sept. 12.
Geotab is being recognized for its GO TALK in-vehicle verbal coaching solution.
GO TALK is a new driver awareness tool that transforms the way driver coaching happens behind the wheel by providing real-time verbal feedback to fleet drivers, increasing safety and minimizing risk. Combining GPS tracking, accelerometer and diagnostic data, and other manager programmable data including time of day and location zones, GO TALK delivers spoken instructions to the driver from inside the vehicle. GO TALK can issue coaching notifications to drivers for events such as driving with a seat belt unfastened, entering a restricted area, driving excessive hours or out of state, excessive idling, speeding, harsh braking, and other risky driving behaviors.
"We at Geotab are truly honored to be named a winner by Golden Bridge Awards for this esteemed industry and peer recognition," said Neil Cawse, Geotab's CEO. "We believe GO TALK's ability to provide fleet drivers with next generation safety capabilities will have a profound impact on business productivity and safety."
The annual Golden Bridge awards program encompasses the world's best in organizational performance, innovations, products and services, executives and management teams, women in business and the professions, innovations, best deployments, product management, public relations, marketing, corporate communications, international business, and customer satisfaction programs from every major industry in the world. Organizations from all over the world are eligible to submit nominations including public and private, for-profit and non-profit, largest to smallest and new start-ups.
