Geotab launches the first version of the Geotab Marketplace, a complement to their pre-existing MyGeotab platform that provides customers with an extensive ecosystem of business-focused applications and add-ons.
Geotab Marketplace applications will be available to more than 12,000 Geotab customers. Fleet managers can visit the Geotab Marketplace site or use their MyGeotab fleet management software to browse and choose the solutions that would add the most value to their business' needs and expand the capabilities of their current telematics solution.
"By providing access to a marketplace featuring such robust applications and add-ons, customers of all sizes have the opportunity to significantly extend the use-case of their fleet management and telematics services," said Geotab CEO, Neil Cawse.
Examples of third party applications and add-ons that can be found on the Geotab Marketplace include corporate fuel card purchase, auditing, field force automation, accounting administration and CRM data integration, driver training safety solutions and vision-based advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). ADAS provide real-time warnings for collision prevention and mitigation.
Geotab is going to feature approximately over 200 third party applications in their newly launched Marketplace by the end of the year, according to the telematics provider.
